The University Writing Center provides free tutorial services to all Mason writers. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni may make an appointment to see a tutor. Appointments are offered in 45-minute face-to-face or online sessions. During a typical session, tutor and writer will review the assignment prompt, set goals for the session, read through the writing, and discuss strategies for effective writing.
